Pastors Gary and Peggy Smith

When you join us at Paragould Church of God, you will be welcomed into a loving church family. We know that we are not perfect, but with the help of the Holy Spirit, we are striving to be more like Jesus every day. We are dedicated to reaching out to the hurting in our community and our world, to help them find hope, help, and healing through Jesus Christ. Paragould Church of God is a place where everyone in your family—from the youngest to the oldest—can grow spiritually.

Men's Ministry Group

Men's Ministries

Our goal is to be a group of Christian men who are friends who work to build Paragould Church of God inwardly with prayer, support, and physical service. Secondly, to reach our community through prayer, outreach, and as examples of quality Christian men, who love God and their community.

Donetta Bass

Donetta Bass, KIDS Church

K.I.D.S. (Kids in Divine Service) Church is designed for children ages six through twelve. Each Sunday at 11:00 a.m., we have a fast-paced, kid-friendly service with snacks, music, games, prizes, a Bible lesson and much more. Children love the “KIDS Church Store, " where they get to spend tickets they've earned for things like attendance, good behavior, bringing a Bible, leading the singing, and scripture memorization! While making sure the children have a good time is important, our main goal is for each child to accept Christ as his or her personal Savior and to then grow in that relationship.Mrs. Donetta has a wonderful teaching assistant, Mrs. Veronica Medcalf.

Nelda Mungle currently teaches in the preschool ministry at Paragould Church of God. Our greatest desire is to help build a solid foundation in the spiritual development of our children by teaching them how much Jesus loves them and that he desires to have a personal relationship with them through prayer, the Bible, and worship.
