Pastors Gary & Peggy Smith

When you join us at Paragould Church of God, you will be welcomed into a loving church family. We know that we are not perfect, but with the help of the Holy Spirit, we are striving to be more like Jesus every day. We are dedicated to reaching out to the hurting in our community and our world, to help them find hope, help, and healing through Jesus Christ. Paragould Church of God is a place where everyone in your family—from the youngest to the oldest—can grow spiritually.

Fuel Youth Leaders - Heather & Dustin Frost, Kimberly & Jeremy Turner

Dustin & Heather Frost and Jeremy & Kimberly Turner are our Youth Leaders for Paragould Church of God's Fuel Youth Group. Both couples faithfully attend and serve our church along with their families, and have dedicated their time and efforts to reaching our youth, teaching them about God and His word, while helping them grow in their relationship with Him.

Worship Leader - Lisa Shinault

 Meet Lisa Shinault, our Worship Leader. Lisa serves our church by leading our worship team. She is dedicated to following the Holy Spirit as she ushers in the presence of the Lord each service.

Church Clerk - Debbie Walker

Debbie serves as our church clerk. She is dedicated, hard working, and has a desire to see our church run to the best of its ability! We appreciate everything she does for our church. Feel free to reach out to Debbie if you have any questions about tithing, membership, etc.

KIDS Church - Donetta Bass & Veronica Medcalf

Our KIDS Pastor and Assistant are passionate about teaching our kids about the Word of God and growing their relationship with Him. Each week they carefully plan lessons, worship, games, and more to teach kids that it can be fun to grow closer to Jesus!

Children's Church - Peggy Smith, Debbie Fisher, & Chae Fuller

 Our leaders' greatest desire is to help build a solid foundation in the spiritual development of our children by teaching them how much Jesus loves them and that he desires to have a personal relationship with them through prayer, the Bible, activities, and worship.

PCOG Nursery - Debbie Curtis

 Our nursery leader takes great joy in teaching bible verses, having worship time, and sharing the love of Jesus with children at a young age. Her desire is to not only see children learn who Jesus is, but to take the time to set them up for success before moving up. Many of our babies had scripture memorized before heading to Children's Church!

Communications/Volunteer Coordinator - Sarah Stone


Sarah serves as our communications/volunteer coordinator by taking care of our Connection Center where members and visitors and find information on all upcoming events in the church, she assists in running the church's social media and website, photography during all church services and events, along with coordinating our greeters and special events volunteers. Sarah's desire is to use the church's online presence to reach more people for the Kingdom of God.

Hand in Hand Worship (Sign Language) Leader - Kiana Dobbs


Kiana has been involved in worship through sign language for nearly 15 years, and has been officially apart of our worship team since 2021. She has a desire to reach the deaf community through worship and to bring this expression of worship to the body of Christ. Kiana also leads our Hand in Hand Worship sign language team as they perform specials for different church events, holidays, and at different time through the year.

Nursing Home Ministry Leader - Madge Bost


Madge has lead our Nursing Home Ministry for over a decade now. She is passionate about reaching out to our elderly community and bringing worship, the Word, and fellowship to Greene Acres Nursing Home the first Monday of every month.
